PHYSIOTHERAPY AND ERGONOMICS
 
 

Anne-Liese trained as a Physiotherapist at St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1980. Other major London teaching hospitals she has worked in include St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. In 1994 she worked, in private clinics, in New Zealand.

In 1990, following additional training and examinations in manual therapy, she became a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. MACP members are specialists in treating musculoskeletal disorders which include repetitive strain injuries (RSI); back pain and sports injuries. Her work also involves ergonomic workstation assessments for both home and office workers and running Advanced DSE Training Courses for DSE Assessors.

Since gaining her MSc in Health Ergonomics in 2004, she has worked as a Consultant Ergonomist giving advice on:
 
Prevention of injury and musculoskeletal disorders
Display Screen Equipment (DSE)
